Vikram starrer period action drama Thangalan is one of the most anticipated Tamil films of the year. Since the production of Tangalan wrapped up a while ago, many fans were patient for the makers to give an update about the film. Directed by B.Ranjith and starring Vikram, actors Parvathy Thiruvothu, Malavika Mohanan, Pashupati and others. Tangalan talks about the origin of the Kolar gold fields. The film is produced by Jio Studios, Studio Green and Neelam Productions.Tamil Prabha is working as the co-writer of the film, which has cinematography by cinematographer Kishore Kumar. Selva RK has worked on the sets of Tangalan. Tangalan will release in Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages. After the theatrical release, the film will be streamed on Netflix. This is the first time that Vikram is working with Ba.Ranjith. The trailer of the film is now out.
