Food Supply and Consumer Welfare Minister Krishna Chandra Patra inaugurated this rice ATM center in Bhubaneswar, India. This is Odisha’s first rice ATM. This rice ATM has been opened after various tests. The central government has introduced this new scheme for the benefit of the farmers. This new scheme brings great joy to the ration card holders. In this Rice Dispensing ATM Machine (Rice Dispensing ATM Machine), family card holders can enter their family card or Aadhaar card number and get 25 kg of rice for them.Its main objective is to ensure that rice is supplied to the beneficiaries in correct weight. People will no longer have to wait in long queues before a fair price shop. This will reduce the theft of subsidized rice by the central government. This system (Rice Dispensing ATM Machine) will be started in all districts of the state. According to the minister, one card will be issued to each ration card beneficiary. This card can be used to withdraw rice from such ATMs anywhere in the country.
