Actor Santhanam, who has mixed with all the leading stars of Tamil cinema as a star comedian, is currently playing the hero of the story in comedy films. Santhanam, who started his new journey with the 2013 film ‘Kanna Lattu Dinna Aasaiya’, went on to entertain fans with films like Vallavanku Pullum Ayudam, Inime Avathan, Dilluku Tutu, A1, Dagaldi, Paris Jayaraj, Dikilonu, Sabapathi among others.The last in this series is Santhanam’s recent release ‘DD Returns’. DD Returns has been hailed by fans as a classic horror comedy treat. DD Returns is a sequel to Santhanam’s previous horror-comedy films Dilluku Duttu and Dilluku Duttu 2. It was a super hit among the fans. Santhanam is next acting in Vadakkapatti Ramasamy directed by Karthik Yogi. It is expected that the announcements of Vadakkapatti Ramasamy, a comedy film set in Madurai, will be out soon.Santhanam’s next comedy treat in this series is ‘Kick’. Popular Kannada director Prashant Raj is directing the film. Kick stars Santhanam, Thambi Ramaiah, Ragini Dwivedi, Kowai Sarala, Brahmanandam and Senthil in lead roles. Fortune Films is producing the film which is going to be a lively comedy film. While the entire shooting of Kick was completed a few months ago, the final stages of Kick are currently in full swing.
