It has been reported that TIDCO (Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation) is planning to introduce helicopter service soon in Tamil Nadu (Helicopter Service Soon In TN). TIDCO – Managing Director, Sandeep Nanduri confirmed this. The DMK government is actively working to start helicopter services in Tamil Nadu soon. Specifically, this service will be launched to connect cities in Tamil Nadu and to connect Tamil Nadu to other states. The Government of Tamil Nadu is going to issue an ordinance in this regard soon. It is said that this helicopter service program will be implemented in collaboration with various government agencies, helipads and helicopter operators.Through the National Civil Aviation Policy and Helicopter Policy of the Union Government, helicopter landing facilities at 80 places in Tamil Nadu are being renovated. It is also said that TIDCO has decided to identify places where helicopters can be used more and set up helipads there. Helicopter Service Soon In TN will be introduced between the cities of Tamilnadu if these works are completed. It is also to be noted that the guidelines of Heli Disha and Heli Sewa are to be implemented on a basic basis.
