5 Indian cities feature in Taste Atlas' 'Best Food Cities in the World' list

Given the importance of local food, Taste Atlas’ online guide, which focuses on experiential travel, recently released a list of the “Best Food Cities in the World”. Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai and Lucknow are five Indian cities listed under the top 100, according to the Times of India. Indian cities Mumbai and Hyderabad are ranked 35th and 39th respectively. These are the two Indian cities that have made it to the top 50. Delhi is ranked 56th, Chennai is ranked 65th and Lucknow is ranked 92nd in this list.Delhi and Mumbai are famous for a variety of chaats. Hyderabad is famous for its biryani. Chennai is also famous for its delicious dosa and idli. Lucknow is famous for its sumptuous Mughlai cuisine, including kebabs and biryani.
