Army and Air Force are continuing rescue operations in Wayanad Landslide where more than a hundred people have lost their lives. Wayanad is located in Tamil Nadu’s neighboring state of Kerala. Wayanad is the most important tourist destination and city of the state. 3 series of landslides in Wayanad last night in the middle of the night have left the entire country in a state of sadness.Hundreds of houses and residences were severely damaged in a sudden midnight landslide in Mettupatti, Mundagai and Suralmalai areas of Wayanad. This landslide (Wayanad Landslide) occurred due to the incessant rains and the resulting heavy floods and the area was trapped. Hundreds of people have died due to landslides in the region. 146 people have died till last night.
